The Roman Centurion broke through several barriers to approach Jesus about his servant's grave condition. The Centurion cared enough for his servant, believed Jesus was capable, and understood the authority of Christ has over the spiritual realm. What Jesus says about the faith of this Gentile Roman soldier would have shocked the disciples who were following Jesus. May our faith in Christ grow as we understand Him more through the word of God.
